With this WIP, we're about to reach the end of this act and I can start with the main part of the movie from there on where Tina actually faces the Walrider. Can't for that!

I started paying more attention to compositions (=how the elements on screen like the models, scenery, props, etc. appear in respect to each other and within the frame itself).
I probably did that all the time subconsciously but there were always some shots that just weren't that appealing to me and I couldn't tell what it is. By studying compositions a little bit, I started to understand the problem and I think this weeks' WIP already shows a difference from the previous ones in that regard.

I'm not entirely sure about the second shot since the "walrider" doesn't move at all in here. I thought it would be more impactful when hardcutting to him as he just stands there when Tina notices that he survived the headshot. It's odd that he doesn't move at all though since I did a little breathing cycle for him.. so that needs a little refinement.

I think the last shot is quite nice. I would have never thought that I would be able to animate the blood that well when the Walrider drills his fingers into the asphalt. I had to do a lot of trickery to pull that off though.
