;)This was primarily a test to try out some Sub Surface Scattering techniques with Liaras skin, it had some nice results, I might continue using it in future art :)

I really love what the SSS has done to the gradients of her skin. Smooth and lovely :) Two nitpicks though. One, there's some freaky candy-corn stuff going on with her hair that has given me a disturbing and irrational desire to nibble on her head tentacles. I guess it's good that Shep is distracted nibbling on something else :) Two, I really like the texture that her scales create. I don't know if it's possible to get both scale-texture and SSS but I do miss the scale texture a bit. On the whole a lovely render though!

Looks good for the most part. Seems to be some sort of artefact around Kira's hip though. I don't think it's intentional, looks like some transparency or mesh clipping.

Going Renegade? I'm not quite sure what you mean :P Yeah that artifact is kind of a result from the sub surface scattering shader, it happens a lot, I usually edit it out but it slipped me by this time, i was too focused on Liaras skin I think :P

lol, just a reference to the glow of her nipple in Shepard's mouth. Like the renegade glow you get on scars (i.e. Kira's face). The close up detail on the skin is damn good, one of the reasons I really like your work.

Thanks ^__^ Yeah i see what you mean now, The white is meant to be rim lighting from the light behind but I forgot to remove the ambient occlusion shadow making it look unlit :P and the pink is the SSS Here is a less candy-corn edit hehe - https://www.dropbox.com/s/1ulakyt607aaxht/Nibble.jpg?dl=0 (Unfortunately I cant edit the main image in this post) I'm not sure about the scales though tbh, which I think is a shame as well, You can still see the scales if you view the full resolution version but yeah, there is kind of less contrast. Something I will continue trying to figure out ^__^
