Patreon Special: Jonquil's W.A.N.D Weapon (Patreon)

I admit, only a very few of the characters currently have their W.A.N.D weapon's designed and they are not the biggest priority anyway. But they are fun to think about. Marian will tell more about them in a future chapter.

Anyway, I've been toying with the idea of Jonquil's potential weapon, and I came to the idea of combining garden scissors with rapier sword. It's elegant enough for him but isn't just a sword and fits his plant theme. And using scissors as a weapon has a bit of that insanity in there that I'm fascinated seeing in Jonquil... Imagining a darker side in him is an attractive thought.

I will surely redesign this weapon a lot, but I like the idea here. Only thing I see myself regretting is the fact that scissors are stupid complicated to draw. I had to hold scissors in my hands when drawing these.

I generally try to avoid making the W.A.N.D weapons just regular weapons. But instead of items that fit the character's powers made into weapons.

And poor Arnick... He just clashes so well with his poison powers against natural Jonquil so I tend to draw him being the opponent of BAP Jonquil...
