"It has been a long time. Did you miss me?"

And here he is. BUP version of Danny, who was the crooked thief sableye from Random Doom series. Here, he's a Crystal wearing some... groovy clothing. I wonder what's up with that. None the less, I'm sure we can expect no good from him in this universe too.

Now here's some fun facts!

1. As a sableye, in later works, I drew him with spots all over his body. These were random, but I always made sure to draw one spot above his left eye. I made sure to keep that in this design too and gave Danny a mole above his left eye. 

2. I've included the old "windows to your soul" drawing here. You might remember it and me wondering who the Crystal in the image was. Well, that's the very first draft of BUP Danny. The very first idea of him I had was him being older and a bit more... "tired" and depressed character who's looking after Merry. But I dropped that and he's still the insane gremlin we all know and love now.

3. Danny being a Crystal was teased looong time ago. Remember this drawing?

Edit: I noticed I've been inconsistent on how I draw Crystals' eyes. Sometimes the X is just the pupil and sometimes it's the whole iris. I think the idea was that it's supposed to be the pupil... So he's not supposed to have special eyes or anything. Oops
