Patreon Special: Opposites But Equal (Patreon)

Here's another special patreon special! A comic + sketch bonus.

Daisy was born with water powers that heal spirits. Arnick was born with water powers that hurt spirits. This polar opposites got me thinking possible dynamics between these two (along the obvious personality clashes) and my brain stormed this interaction between them. Which, turned out more serious than jokey.

I will not get into every little things that this comic reveals about these two, but I do wanna point out one thing it tells: there are powers that are considered better and more respected than others.

Daisy's healing power is rare and respected power. She tends to get special treatment thanks to this. Daisy, does not like this (as is especially seen in the extra sketch I provided). She is happy with her powers, but she doesn't think it makes her better than others and is more proud of any personal growth she has worked hard towards to. She and Arnick were born totally opposites, but to her, they are equal and what they do as people matter more to her.

So pretty much the same lesson as mewtwo learned in the first pokemon moview, ahaha!

None the less, I hope you enjoyed this interaction between an unlikely duo. I very much enjoyed drawing this.
