Hello everyone! Another month, another beginning of the month post. This one I'm calling Nice November. Reason? Simple! November is about the time it starts to get properly cold around here, and I love the cold weather. Nothing better than having a hot drink and being buried underneath a mountain of blankets.

Before I get into things, I'd just like to say that the launch of The Hungry House went very smoothly! It's falling down the charts now (the average person on itch.io doesn't want to buy a vore game after all) but for a solid couple of days it was at the top of the list on both the adult and the horror section in terms of popularity, so... very nice! Even better, going off the comments I've had, people really enjoyed the game! So thank you, everyone! My next game is going to bigger and better and much more meatier... and a lot less spooky.

Now that The Hungry House is done and dusted, I'm going to use my beginning of the month post here to kind of outline and lay out the stuff that I'll be doing for the rest of 2023. I want to go out with a bang, so I'm planning on getting a whole bunch of content out before the curtains close on the year. So let's get into it!

I Chose Which Game I Wanna Develop Next

Well... not quite outlining the rest of the year to begin with, because this is definitely more of a next year thing. However, I've realized that I'd like to mention it, so...

I don't want to talk about it too much - because I'll be talking a bit more about it later in the month  - but if you were here in September you might remember that I ran a pretty big poll that would help me choose which game I want to develop next!

After looking at the results of the poll and chewing my own feelings over, I have decided to go forward with developing A Tiny Furry On A Huge Quest, which I am hoping to have playable in an alpha/beta state by the middle of next year.

I also have an interest in doing something with Vorevival next year too, but my plans are still kinda formulating on what that is and what it might look like, so, don't expect to hear anything on that for a little bit. It will be a smaller and more experimental game than it would have been as a main project... at least initially, because I'll also be making it as easy as possible for me to add more content to it.

As for A Tiny Furry In A Huge World 2, I am very interested in the idea and I think it would be super interesting, but I think it would also benefit from stewing in my brain tank for a little bit. It would also be better served as a main project rather than a side one. In other words, it won't be happening any time soon - I can only do so much, after all - but it will be happening at some point in the future.

I have big plans for A Tiny Furry On A Huge Quest - plans that I will be talking about before the end of the year - but for the time being, my focus is going to be catching up on older projects that fell by the wayside while I was developing The Hungry House. So... let me get into that.

Getting Back To Writing, Or, Catching Up With Stuff

I've got some stuff to catch up with! I don't really want to go whole hog into developing A Tiny Furry On A Huge Quest until I've caught up on a couple of other projects, which are:

A Tiny Furry In A Huge World Plus v1.3
I still need to write a ton of content for this. This is probably the biggest project on the list in terms of word count and overall effort, and it's something that I'll be eating away at for a few months, with the biggest push on it being December and January most likely.

v1.3, as some of you already know, will add a gymnasium area to the game that'll add two brand new characters - a cheetah and a hyena! It will also add a brand new game mode in the form of Aimee Mode, which will be a smallish section of the game where you can play as Aimee and do some predator POV stuff, which is a first for the game!

There's a preview build already (it's from a couple of months back before I started working on The Hungry House) if you'd like to check it out!

I'll be working on it this month (there will be a new preview build at the end of the month that'll add a few scenes) but it won't be my full focus until December because...

Commissions
I have four commissions that I'd like to get wrote before the end of the year. One of them has a fair bit of it wrote and that'll likely be the first one out, but the other three only really have rough drafts and still need a lot of work. This month I will be putting the vast majority of my effort into getting these wrote and ready for everyone to read! Three out of the four are pretty lengthy, and they're all pretty unique and fun, so, should be good reads when they're ready.

They won't all be out this month, but I would like to get three of them out so that I can spend most of December working on v1.3. We'll see how things go, but, I'm feeling pretty inspired and energetic so I have a good feeling!

Sorting Out Existing Content On Here And Making It Easier To Find/Read

I mentioned I'd be doing this last month! It's quite hard to scroll through all of the content I've uploaded here - especially if you're looking for stuff from years back - so I'll be making a genuine effort this month to start uploading and organizing my content somewhere else. I'd love to do it on Patreon rather than make everyone go to another site but the organisation system on here isn't great and every time they update the website it gets worse, so...

The stuff that's Patreon exclusive will remain Patreon exclusive because it'll all be password locked and said password will change every month, so, something similar to what other creators do on here. I am not sure what service I am using (I might even be buying my own webspace to do it on) but it will be a safe and easy to use thing. I am aiming to make things more convenient, not less!

I'm still working on the specifics of this, but, expect a post about this pretty soon.

Bonus Endings
I have two bonus endings from polls on here that I need to catch up with. These will both be appearing in that preview build that I mentioned a couple of paragraphs back, but I'll also be posting them up as plaintext previews when they're finished since you've all been patiently waiting for them for a couple of months!

So, for the rest of the year, these three projects will fill my focus predominantly. This doesn't mean that I won't be working on A Tiny Furry On A Huge Quest in the background, because...

Development Logs

I will be doing development logs for A Tiny Furry On A Huge Quest pretty much every month going forward. There might be the odd month where I don't have much to say, but it's more likely that I'll have been tinkering on something in the background that'll be interesting to talk about!

This is going to be a much different game to what I have offered in the past while also feeling cozy and familiar and very Kyobi. Amongst other things it's going to have combat, more/different ways to explore, a completely different UI... the list could go on.

So, dev logs will be good for two purposes I think. One, showing these things off, and, two, possibly gathering feedback on said things that I'm showing off, both positive and negative, hopefully all constructive.

The first one will be coming this month, and I'll be talking about the all new UI/interface that I am currently prototyping for the game. It should be pretty neat, so keep an eye out for it!

Bonus Poll

After taking a break from these last month (thanks for the patience everyone!) there will, indeed, be a bonus poll this month! As almost always, it'll be a poll where you guys get to choose an ending to be added to A Tiny Furry In A Huge World Plus! No point going on about this one too much because I'll be posting the first round of it in just a couple of days. Just wanted to give everyone the heads up that it's back on!

That's it!

I'm going to be taking the rest of the weekend off and then I'll be getting right back into things on Monday. I hope you're all having a lovely start to November! I'll see you in just a couple of days with that bonus poll I was just talking about...
