Hello everyone! It's Awesome August. Why is August awesome? Because it means that it's the start of SPOOKY SEASON. Halloween is but a couple of months away now, and Halloween is my favorite holiday of the year.

Yes, I know it's a commercial holiday driven by capitalism in order to sell massive amounts of candy, model skeletons, and that terrible fake cobweb stuff that's horrendous for the environment I think, but, still! Something about Halloween just fills me with this strange sorta wonder. Even though I never buy anything - because I don't really have anywhere to put it - seeing all of the Halloween decorations up for purchase in the store just makes grocery shopping all the more enjoyable. Plus, if you need any DIY stuff and you go to Home Depot, they have all of these giant animatronic werewolves and shit on display at the front of the store. This means that your mundane trip for screws is suddenly interrupted by a bunch house of horror stuff screaming at you because some kid pressed all the 'try me' buttons at the same time. Some might call this 'annoying as fuck' - and they might be right - but to me, it's just kinda awesome, you know?

Anyway! Enough going on about Halloween. It's like three whole months away almost, so I'll try to contain my spooky ramblings until a little closer to the time.

Here's what's coming up this month!

The Hungry House Preview Build

This August, I will be posting a preview build of the remastered, or, enhanced, or whatever you wanna call it of The Hungry House. This will be the only preview build of the game, because the full game will be coming at the end of September. Scattered throughout this post are a few work in progress screenshots of the whole thing!

I have been quietly working on porting everything over to Game Maker for the past few months between everything else I've been doing, but now that it's getting close to October - where I'd like to release it to the public at the end of the month on Halloween - I want to put the development of A Tiny Furry aside for August and September so that I can get everything wrapped up and the game complete.

This does mean that A Tiny Furry In A Huge World Plus v1.3 preview builds will not be posted in August and September. While I will be working on the game, I will be working on it in a much more limited capacity. Over the past couple of weeks I considered keeping up with both, but I have decided that I am only one person and that working on two games plus a commission queue is going to drive me insane and likely impact all of my projects negatively as a result.

If you aren't aware of The Hungry House, it's a vore horror text adventure game that I made in Quest around this time last year. It hasn't been released outside of Patreon yet because rather than release the Quest version I decided instead to remake the entire game in Game Maker to ensure that it would be as impressive of a release as possible.

I call it a remake for a good reason. It's going to have all of the content from the original Quest release as well as a whole bunch of additional areas, vore scenes, and plot elements to explore and enjoy. On top of that, I commissioned the always wonderful CuttleScuttle to do sound work on the game... including some next level vore audio. I posted a preview of some of this vore audio a couple of months back, so if you're interested in that, then... click here for a sneak preview.

As I've said already, the game is also going to be in an entirely new engine, which means that the game will be fully playable on both Windows and Android - with other platforms coming in the future, hopefully. On top of that, there's a whole slew of other benefits. Better visual effects, an improved UI, and just a better and more professional-feeling game experience on the whole.

While I have posted things I've made in Game Maker already this year (see Macroville, Bullet Cat, and this port of Ms. Matthews' area from A Tiny Furry In A Huge World) this is, by far, going to be the biggest and most impressive thing that I have done in the engine thus far. I don't want to spoil too much since it's going to be coming out at the end of this month anyways and I'd like it to be as much of a surprise as possible... but there's going to be a lot of things happening in this game that I couldn't have possibly done in Quest.

I am extremely excited to be able to share this with you all this month, and I am even more excited to launch the full game on here in September. I promise that it'll be worth putting A Tiny Furry In A Huge World on the backburner for two months. Taking a little break from Tiny Furry always fills me with enthusiasm anyways, so it'll likely just make v1.3 even better.

Sophie's Bonus Scene

While I will be mostly working on The Hungry House in terms of game stuff this month, I haven't forgotten about the winner of last month's bonus scene poll, Sophie.

Her ending - which is going to focus on you being trapped in her balls for a long period of time - will be wrote this month. It's going to be a fairly interactive ending so I will be posting in the form of a Quest file as well as in plain text, so... there is kind of going to be a preview build for Tiny Furry this month, it's just going to be one ending, and that one ending is going to be prolonged cock vore.

By interactive, I mean that there's going to be a room for her teste. Said room will start out mostly empty when you first end up in there, but over the course of the day, between events (as Sophie does things) it's going to fill with, well... cum... which means that our dear protagonist is going to end up getting stickier and stickier until...

... well, wouldn't want to spoil the ending.

Stories

This month, between everything else, I'm also going to be working on my commission queue as usual, which means that there will be a couple of stories posted this month as well!

While I don't like to go into too much detail to avoid overpromising and disappointing myself, like I say every month... like most writers in my field, I have a queue of commissions, I'll be working on 'em, and I'll be posting them up as and when they're done!

A Big Poll

This month there will be a big poll as well as a relatively big announcement alongside it. I'd say more but it's going to be a month-long poll and I'll be posting it up either tomorrow or the day after that, so, more details very shortly. I promise it's not as ominous as it sounds.

There will also be the usual bonus scene poll. Not sure what it'll be about this month, but I'll try to make it as exciting as possible.

EDIT: After thinking this through over the weekend, I have decided instead that I will do the big poll and the big announcement next month since it'll be a touch more better timed then. I got excited, got ahead of myself, and pulled the trigger on this announcement of an announcement a little too soon. I promise it'll be worth the wait.

The usual bonus poll is still coming, of course!

Mental Health Check

Moving in is officially over and settling in has commenced. I'm feeling super good about where I've moved to, and, all in all, I'm feeling very enthusiastic about writing and creating and all of that good stuff.

That's it!

I hope you're all having a wonderful start to the month!

Long post jam-packed with stuff so I'm going to leave it at that. My next post will be that big poll I talked about just a couple of paragraphs ago.

See you then!

"fake cobweb stuff that's horrendous for the environment" Just TF someone into it, it's great for the environment. Who cares about that persons feelings. They probably only give out the mini-mini sized candy bars and still insist people only take one. They totally deserve becoming a single use item that is destined for the tras bin in a day or two. And if bits of their contious manage to get stuck in the broom for a few years. Or become dust bunnies, or just cling to clothes or socks and have to hang out in the fuzz trap in the washing machine until you remember it's important to clean it. Or end up lining the edges of your insole. Or become homogeneous with the carpet fibers and getting walked on until the next house owner decide to rip it out and replace. Or everything all at once. Together with the guy who became glitter on new years eve and also have to have bits of their contious littering every place you'd rather not vacuum every day. Screw them.
