Friday Progress Report (Patreon)

Hello Welcome to the Weekly Progress report ^^

The executive producers voted for it so this week the knobbly staff is being used on the fox.

This week I've been working on the animation and the preview attached is a bit of a WIP mish mash rough cut of things:

1. it's the render that you've seen so far with an added reaction shot of the polar bear,
2. it's a low quality FPV render of the polar bear choosing the toy (this needs work)
3. it's a very early WIP of the fox getting toyed with, very very WIP but I wanted to see how things would look with the full fur, motion blur, lighting etc... and how long it takes for each frame. (4 and a half mins per frame) Also I've included this loop as it's own thing too.

I've also included some 4K stills.

a chunk of time was spent working out some rigging issues with the auto aim system, swapping between 'spaces' and rotation constraints for the toys, I won't bore you with the details, lets just say it's a 3D puzzle with invisible pieces and if you connect them in the wrong way things move and break in counter intuitive ways. But that's solved now. 

Next week it's going to be improving and rendering the animations shown.
