Friday Progress Report (Patreon)

Hello and welcome to the Friday progress report :D

This week I've built textured and rigged some toys, improved some rigging scripts and updated both the fox and polar bear to use some new rigging tech.

I've now sculpted, retopoed and textured the selection of toys that will be used on the fox, A plug with a pullring, a squidgy penetratable, a knobbly bead wand thing, a long hoss and a chunky draco. (picture attached below)

For rigging I've a new auto aim system that takes a lot of the manual work out of keeping things directed where they should be (Included is a low res video of the wand being used on the squidgy toy) and I've added this auto aim feature to the Fox and Polar Bear.

As you may have seen on twitter I put out a video showing off the latest iteration of my Auto Stretch System for my squidgy toy (attached below) which seemed to impress some of my fellow 3D artists. This is also going to be used for a new angle of internal shots from now on (a low quality render of that is below featuring the Draco and Squidgy toy) 

I also have included a higher res render of a recreation of the twitter demo cause I wanted to see how it would look rendered in a bit higher quality.

The takeaway from all of this is: Everything is now done for the animation to proceed, the set has been made/textured/lit, the toys have been made/rigged/textured and both the fox and burr are animation ready.
