Sunday Progress Report (Patreon)

Hello ^,^ 

This week I've done even more work on the climax animation, worked on getting fur nice and matted when it gets splatted, got a preview animation rendered and in general a lot of ground work has been done.

Part of the week got eaten by the fact that the thing I use for fur does not like working on referenced files and never got saved. (and I only found that when opening the file several days after :/ ) I needed to redo a load of work, (not going to make that mistake again.) I decided Thursday to concentrate on a single angle to get something out for today, tagging this as work in progress because this is the first pass of the simulation (I may have gone a little overboard), the animation needs more work and to be extended, maybe a change in lighting etc...

Towards the end of this week I've started feeling a bit off if that's poor sleep or not having got ill for the past two years and something finally making its way to me, I dunno. But either way I've been working through a foggy head and a bout of visual migraines to get this done (not fun)   

This coming week I'm going to try to give the animation more polish and a a bit of an extension, multiple camera angle renders and more work on detail shots (including an internal shot) and of course the alternative version. but this is a heads up that I'm not feeling too brilliant right now and it took all my concentration to get this WIP version done for today. 

Seeings that we are nearing the end of this animation I'm putting up a new poll to decide which two characters are going to be in the next animation. (if the Polar Bear or Raccoon get chosen I'll need to finish working on them before the animation can begin) So that will be put up shortly after this post for the Executive Producers.

Oh I also have included a 4K still of one of the frames, this includes a fix to the wolfs fur where it should be darker and glossier where it gets hit (something I only noticed today after the 13 hour render finished, again this will be fixed in the up coming versions)

I do hope you like the WIP of the climax (and 4K still), let me know what you think, (more fluid, less, just right?) and I hope to see you next week with more work done on it. ^_^

(note on files, the h264 and h265 video files are identical, the h264 versions are bigger but will play on mostly everything, the h265 are smaller but needs a more up to date player, like VLC)
