I'm back, ^_^ the lingering fatigue and mild muscle aches (that's made it really fun to do work) finally fully fell away on Friday I'm feeling a lot more like myself. During the time it was  affecting did I resign myself to being wrapped up and watching junk on TV? oh no, I keep busy any way possible.

What do you get when you have a sick 3D artist looking for something low impact to work on? Well they've become someone willing to sit for hours and tweak and refine the same thing over and over again. First thing tackled was the motion blur on Basted Otter, stuff looked good flying through the air but on hitting a character, looked too fuzzy. After many iterations, going back and forth trying to find a happy medium it ended up having to have a small bit of code that allowed for both the more blur in the air and less blur on the character at the same time. This code is very rough and ready (was not in exactly in a good coding head state) will be extended in future. Second thing to get this treatment was the shader, as after fixing the motion blur the surface didn't look too good. So again, sat there tweaking parameters one at a time.

Then as the week wore on and (that coincided with feeling better) more time was spent working on SIEO p3. This is really coming along, the loop at the end was refined, more action added, and the task for next week will be to continue working on it.

Finally, I spent time comping together the camera angles for Basted Otter, Have included an edited 'release' version along with the raw uncut camera angles.

I’m really glad to hear you’re feeling better! And the animations are looking so good!
