Staying In Eating Out Part 3 more refinements done on cam 4, over the next week going to look to extend and refine the end section of this camera (smoothing movement, and having better flow) then starting a new camera from where the current render/playblast ends with the fox enjoying himself. (this will lead to the sticky ending, followed by another cam for the yeens turn) ^_^

Tiger rebuild has been finished, The density of this groom might be a bit heavy for a full animation I've yet to test with a 2nd character and set. If needed I'll optimize this  when working on an animation feat the Tiger.

The ability to freely mess with the topology of the base sculpt without having to redo the face rigging has lead to some more behind the scenes experimentation and alterations in the direction of making characters more stretchy, (OwO) the previous rig worked but was a pain in the ass to to set up (heh) and animate with this one is a lot more flexible in all senses of the word. And because it's almost mandatory here is a finely sculpted draconic toy being enjoyed by the newly stretchy tiger (also included a full shot with the the otter). I showed off this new stretchiness to the Executive producers last Thursday in the poll they voted for me to continue my RnD into this as the side activity this week. I'll be making some more alterations to get a more fine grained control and look to add some more detailing.

A note on grooming I always planned on updating the groom when I got better hardware, (and with the thanks of everyone here I have). However just adding flyaway fur, frizz and clumping without any thought or attention just makes the characters look messy/scruffy. These alterations need to be added with restraint to stylistically enhance characters rather than blanketly used all over. Unlike other things that I managed to script, fur does (to a greater or lesser extent) need to be redone with each build that alters topology and always needs some aspect done by hand. With the advance of these new rigging techniques I think I'm getting close to having a complete setup where characters are flexible, fast, easy to animate and do everything that I could want to do within animations. Once this point is reached I'll bring all characters up to this standard and then I can really go deep on detailing fur and few other things I've been wanting to keep light or just not had the time to invest in implementing them. (esp when a rebuild would mean redoing work)

One of these things that's been rattling around as an idea and finally got worked on was some skin tension effects  I've included a test render of the very first go at this, let me know what you think

Twinblade

The otter Boi makes that toy look huge

The skin tension effect looks good.

PxlFur

It's the same size toy the tiger is using. :D he's rather big.

Twinblade

Just make the otter seem so much smaller than when he is next too the tiger or hyena
