To add a bit more structure to my work I've started up a weekly poll for the executive produces where they get to choose my focus area for the following week. The poll gets put up on a Thursday and closes Sunday.

On Sunday I make a progress report for the previous week (this is what you are reading now ^_^), this is where I'll show off stills, (preview) animation, or a written report detailing what I've been up to.

Today the poll closed and Simulation came out on top so this week I'll be polishing up the goo animation and dialing in the sim.

What other things have I been up to this week?

Blocking out for the next Otter Explorer animation short.  (see image)

Sculpting up the Raccoon's body, wanted him a little more chubby (see image)

I've written out a rough outline for my next big animation it's (going to be the fox and the tiger getting up to mischief this time.)

a lot of back end tech work looking at the tools I use with my render pipeline and seeing if I can get more complex fur generation without drastically increasing render time along with getting everything playing together nicer with simulation. <- this is going to be slow burn background work.

Diesel Weasel

The raccoon's legs seem long to me, but overall he's a very cute little guy. :B Looking forward to seeing how the new stuff turns out.

PxlFur

good catch, Taking a look now vs 'standard' I think the length is around about correct but the ratio of upper to lower is not, Will fix it before doing any further work on him. That would have been a PITA to fix after rigging.
