The new character has been chosen by the Executive Producers, the sculpt that will become the next character is (drumroll please) the Raccoon. :D

Currently on the pile is simulation and character creation and looking at some short loop ideas that will get fleshed out a bit more when I know what the EPs have selected for the next location (that's going to be this coming Monday) so I can work with some props/set dressing, as the size difference of the characters really needs something for them to stand on to interact.

For anyone interested the pipeline for character creation will be something like, sculpting the body, texturing, rigging, weight painting (fun), pose space deformation sculpting, then finally the groom to make him allll fluffy. I'll post an update when I get to texturing. and again when he's done.   

Also thanks to the support from everyone here, I've been able to afford a snazzy new graphics card which speeds up everything from simulation to rendering.

I'm glad the raccoon got chosen; that was the one I was in favor of. XB Also, size different? :D Looking forward to it!

to be fair all of the current characters are of wildly differing sizes in fact the raccoon is going to be the first that closest the gap at one end of the range, slipped in somewhere between the fox and the otter (oh my!)
