Sorry for the infrequent posts and updates. You guys deserve better...

I am still battling some technical decisions while working on our thrive scenes. But allow me to attempt to elaborate on the current progress.

Technical stuff
Due to the Unity's merger yesterday, I do not feel like adapting the software. However, I am also unsure if Adobe/Samsung Air can fully support my scope. After designing the thrive scenes (ex-ending scenes) for abit, the scope is getting clearer. Each item can compose of 7~8 animations, plus some graphics and simple animation, minimum. Doing 5~6 of these thrive scenes may be fine, but for extensibility, like DLC, I have to test the software's capability. The other thing I have to find out is if there is a way to allow players to designate a save location, which is very important as that is probably needed if I want to publish the game on Steam and to use their cloud to backup our saves.

Design process and new updates
Amid all these technical questions, our designing process has been taken place continuously. This time perhaps some good news, as I will no longer be the bottleneck of the design process in two days. As to why it has been taking so long: basically, I have been viewing the project as a franchise, like a McDonald XD The ending scene is the last puzzle that I need to figure out. I think in terms of cost/risk/return, it is worth digging deeper so I can understand the core of the subject, at least to meet the minimum quality that I deem needed (attached part of the mindmap). These break downs of controls and what compose of quality perhaps can help other adultish creators one day. Afterall, the world is a better place with more and better quality of contents, and not just contents. But of course, we will have to wait and see how will you guys like the thrive scenes in the future to decide if any of my documentation is helpful for mankind ^O^

TLDR; I will return to work on new updates^^

Well this game is 2D. Have you considered the Godot Engine? It is very well suited for 2D Games. I don't think that Adobe AIR is a good choice in 2022 at all.
