ok, so i had some extra thought on the prices, and realiced that upping the price per character animated isnt neccessary, when it comes to the real problem, which is the time it takes to light a scene, test render it, furnish it, then render the whole thing, and possibly re-render(which often happens sadly), and then post work for the animation and image. This process is usually not that different time wise depending on the amount of characters, which is why ive decided to make the animation price go from 70 to 50 dollar again. Instead I am opting to higher the fixed base price that I introduced yesterday.

Price for a 2 character scene -

50 + 70+70 = 190 dollar (yesterdays change)

100+50+50 = 200 dollar (todays change)

So im upping the rendering/post process price, and going back to the original animation price.

I think this would work a bit better. Solo scenes will cost more, however scenes with more characters, will be cheaper.

Heres a little example (new price bolded to the right.) -

1 character = 120, 150

2 characters = 190, 200

3 characters = 260, 250

4 characters = 330, 300

6 characters = 470, 400

I might keep finetuning the prices before I open commissions again in around april, but I dont imagine ill be making any more big changes for the time being. These prices would set my hourly wage to around 10-15 dollar an hour per commission, as I usually spend quite a few hours on animation commissions.
