Context for this story: This little moment comes after Amary's years of hell. Her attacker is now in prison, she tries to rebuild herself but does not succeed, feeling suffocated in this city which sheltered all these memories. Amary makes the difficult decision to leave everything to go on a trip (which she has taken care to organize well, depending on the places she wants to visit) to try to heal and make a new start. She doesn't do it out of heart, but a voice calls out to her to leave. Tylender is terrified of losing the only family member he has left, he would do anything for his sister, but respects her choice to leave. This is therefore their last Christmas together, celebrated gently, in the two sibling' condo (which will become Tylender's).
