The new Slime Princess card for our TCG looked friendly enough to be chosen to introduce the basics of how Princess & Conquest Character cards should be read!

We wanted to add as much information as possible, and for them to be easy to read, without cramping the frame too much! I hope you like the result!

This first guide covers some obvious parts, but also symbols and little details that will be dutifully explained in the starter sets of the game when published. From top to bottom:

  • Card Name

Duh! It's the Princess's (or peasant's) name! You can't have more than 4 cards with the same name in your Deck (1 if Unique). The rule doesn't apply to different versions of the same Princess (Ex. Merchant Princess / Merchant Princess Tanuki version)

  • Card Type

Character cards come in different "racial" types, broadly described at present in Humanoid/Monster/Draconic/Beast/Merfolk (more could be added in the future). Additionally, if there's a tiny crown on the Type Icon you can tell immediately if that character is royalty or not!

  • Stats πŸ’—πŸ†πŸ’ͺπŸ‘›

Just like in P&C! Love πŸ’—  / Lust πŸ† / Power πŸ’ͺ / Wealth πŸ‘› define the strength of the card you're playing!

  • Skill(s)

Stats are not everything! There are special Skills that will change how the character stats work or change the way the card is meant to be played to be as effective as possible!

  • Flavor Text

Dialogues or writings, usually taken directly from Princess & Conquest endless archive.

  • Series #

Formatted as "Card #/Series Card #" - "Language" - "C/U/R" for rarity. The first series, the Base Set won't have a letter before this string.

  • Card Rarity

Character cards have the Princess' Crown on the lower edge, with a gem used to immediately tell the rarity of the card in your hands. Believe it or not, the cutest girl Slime Princess is a Common Card!
