Weekly Update CD - .458b - Evelyn's Dream - 2/4/24 (Patreon)

Alright, the first part of Val's mischief night is out. There's a lot to get through with it so it's just a test run for now that skips some parts and then sends you back to the evening hub. Val's portion is mostly finished but I skipped a couple non-essential parts to get to the introduction of the rogue lightcasters that'll feature in the second half of the encounter. 

When that's all done, you'll eventually have a choice between each of the different rogues to play with (unless you have high stats or read all of your assistant's book, in which case you'll get to play with all 4 in a row). For right now though, you can only get options to choose 2 out of the 4 characters. There' s a lot to get through still, but the skeleton of the encounter is now up at least.

In addition, January Poll Results for Power of Will are featured at the bottom.

EDIT (.457a): This update finishes most of the remaining stuff involving the rogue lightcasters, including a route that encompasses all of them if you finished your assistant's book. Everything is still set up with the 'skip forward' button though, so that'll be fixed with all the appropriate stat gain/flags in the next update.

EDIT (.458a): This update wraps up everything involving the various choices with the lightcasters, including whether you 'captured' them all with your assistant's help. The dream sequence with Evelyn is still on the way but for now it's just the clips in the folder since I didn't finish it in time.

EDIT (.458b): This update finishes Evelyn's dream route. Keep in mind that the start of Wednesday is still a work-in-progress, as are a few entries for the other rogue lightcasters Sarah/Joy/Dana.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1) If you need a clean install, download the .390a ALL FILES pack from this post.

Step 1b) Next, download .420a UPDATE ONLY from this post.

Step 1c) Then download .450a UPDATE ONLY from here.

Step 2) Unzip the all files pack to create your College Daze folder. From now on, you'll extract future updates and place them in this same folder, overwriting the previous content to update it.

Step 3) If necessary, download an update only pack like the one in this post.

Step 4) Unzip the update only pack and copy the contents of it.   

Step 5) Paste these contents in your original 'all files' folder. Your computer will ask if you want to overwrite the existing HTML file. Click yes.    

Step 6) If you did everything right, you should have an HTML file that you click to run the game and a fan-made Images folder that has folders from 'aug02' to '205'. If you find an 'Images' folder inside your 'Images' folder, that means you pasted it incorrectly and need to re-copy and paste stuff.     

Step 7) When you run the game, the images and text should display as normal. If they don't, send me a message and we can try to figure this out further.
