Weekly Update - .147b - BUGFIX - Raven's Alt Form - 12/25/21 (Patreon)

Alright, Raven and Candy's permanent alternate forms are now in the game, as well as Raven's entire portion of the property scene. Keep in mind that if you finish with her and then save, you'll effectively skip the next update that will feature Candy and Keera.

Remember: to access the demons, you need to have specifically chosen to take away their free will after defeating Titus AND met one of the following requirements: either orange level 5, purple level 6, or at least 4 chapters read of your assistant's book.

I'll have another update tomorrow for Raven's new alt form (as well summoning Candy's, though her and Keera will likely need one more update after tomorrow).

Please keep in mind that I won't be resuming  work until the 27th (barring any game-breaking bugs from this newest release that I can quickly fix). Once all of these early morning auto events are finished, I'll try to get the minigame done in time for a public release before continuing on for the patreon version with Brittany's morning study session ;).

Also, just wanted to say Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays to everyone! Hopefully all this property stuff gives you something to do over the break ;).

EDIT: One of the transformation videos was playing a clip of Ward instead, this bugfix html file addresses that.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1) Download the .130c ALL FILES pack from this post if you need a clean install.  

Step 2) Unzip this pack to create your College Daze folder. From now on, you'll extract future updates and place them in this same folder, overwriting the previous content to update it.     

Step 3) If necessary, download an update only pack like the one in this post.

Step 4) Unzip the update only pack and copy the contents of it.   

Step 5) Paste these contents in your original 'all files' folder. Your computer will ask if you want to overwrite the existing HTML file. Click yes.    

Step 6) If you did everything right, you should have an HTML file that you click to run the game and a fan-made Images folder that has folders from 'aug02' to '156'. If you find an 'Images' folder inside your 'Images' folder, that means you pasted it incorrectly and need to re-copy and paste stuff.     

Step 7) When you run the game, the images and text should display as normal. If they don't, send me a message and we can try to figure this out further.

I think there is a bug with the ward event, I either get an empty page if i play with heather too or i get a dead link if i wait for her

There's a line in the html that says "$sofia_slave gte 50 $sofia_property == true", change it to "$sofia_slave gte 50 or $sofia_property == true" and it'll work

Did you choose to keep the demons afterwards or did you just free them? You have to have kept them for yourself to unlock the next segment of this scene.

I have the same problem. I kept them and get a not implemented as well. I double checked the flag to make sure they weren't free and they aren't marked as free yet the event does not occur.

Are you guys referring to a scene where you 'wait for Ward' while with Nikki and Heather? If so, that bug will be fixed in tonight's update. If it's something else, can you please go on the Discord and report it in bug reports? Preferably with a screenshot. EDIT: You guys are using .146b right? That's the bugfix from earlier.

yes I'm using .146b and I'm talking about the into to the demons scene. I'm not sure whether it's supposed to happen before or after the ward scene as I've not decompiled the html yet to look at the scene flags. I'm reasonably sure that I have the correct flags for this scene to trigger though.

I found the flag preventing the demon scene from working. It was drug_slave which needs to be set to true. I'm not sure why this is a requirement though? All 3 demons are marked as alive and the info pages for them indicate they have pledged themselves to me. Should that not be enough to trigger the scene by itself?

No, being your ally is not the same as being enslaved. Two very different things for the purposes of this event.

If you mean the version number, that's on the sidebar to the left while you're playing. If you mean specific variables, you can check the phone in-game (via the Check Phone link) to see a breakdown of relevant stuff you've done with each character.

There's actually a few different ways -- 1) if you just visit the library you can find a book on assistants during the second week I think, you just have to 'read it' once in-game and then you'll get the ability to study it further with Chang or Rio. 2) If you summon the assistant during the second week and she likes you enough, she'll give you the book directly. 3) If you visit Chang in the library and develop your relationship with her, she'll eventually unlock the ability to let you study it.

Sure, you can use save editor online to make any changes you want, or if you google how to edit sugarcube, you'll find a method you can edit while you're playing the game in the browser. Either way, you're free to make any changes you want with one rule: don't report any bugs that come up to me. You're basically editing it at your own risk.

For some reason, after I bought the hotel, I can't finish any scenes with the succubi. I keep getting an error where a passage doesn't exist.

If you look at the post, it shows what content I've finished. Right now, I still have to finish Keera and Candy's portions before you can proceed.

Having fun with Professor Patel, at the end "Error: the passage "Morning156aStart5Part1" does not exist" What can I do? Sorry if it has been answered already.

When you see a passage like that, it means the content isn't finished. If you hover over the green + signs in the game, it will give you hints about stuff. In this case, you are missing property contracts for the other characters that I'm still working on. We can't proceed past that until all of the characters are finished.

Thank you. It's up to you how you want to do it, some people prefer to wait for several updates before they download a new one, because each update is typically 8 - 10 new passages before the end of content is reached again. Development takes time, so if you download every update when it comes out, you'll advance piece by piece, but if you wait a week or longer, you'll have more content to explore between downloads.
