Hey everyone!

Just wanted to make a quick post to keep everyone up to date with stuff I have in mind

Basically the way I do stuff right now is that I usually make a new animation to post every other week. Setting a rhythm like that has been working really well for me and I think it's allowed to me to work on a pretty comfortable pace

The only problem with that is that I feel it sometimes "locks" me into just making artwork that takes a long time to produce, which can prevent me from making smaller pieces that would allow me to practice more and improve my skills quicker

So what I've been thinking for a bit now was to try to post "smaller" pieces on the off weeks when the next animation or full painting isn't done yet

They would be simpler things, most of the time not having any kind of background, or not having any special camera angles or composition. Essentially they'd be allowing me to practice the initial parts of a full piece (character proportions and anatomy, basic character rendering) without requiring the time investment to make it complete (by requiring fancier camera angles, value/color compositions, finished rendering, animation, video editing/soundwork, etc)

I've been thinking about adding them to the regular posting schedule because I think I'm a better artist now? I've been getting better at this base stuff and I wanna keep practicing it, without it requiring the usual full level of polish (and my own expectations) that my usual pieces do

So yeah, I'm gonna give it a try in the following weeks. Maybe not eeevery week for now, not at least until I give it a taste and see how it goes. This is supposed to be extra stuff to what I usually make, so it'll only happen when I have free time instead of taking time from the next main piece I'd be working on

Also, completely unrelated to that

I've been kinda getting the urge to make a minecraft server, just something fun to try for a month or two when the new update comes out. Dont have any details about it at all right now, just the urge that it would be fun to open it for all patrons to play together sometime
