Hey everyone!

Sorry to not get into the holiday spirit right now but holy shit this was the hardest animation I've ever made in my life

I thought it would be a good idea to go all out and really challenge myself and I think I really achieved it hahaha

I was like "I was always afraid of pov animations, but the halloween pic went well so let's do it again! And no cheating, this time I'm gonna hand draw the different head poses from scratch instead of morphing it to convey depth in the movement" and sure, ok, lets go with that

but then I decided I wanted this complex animation with different poses because I'm a dumbass (I even had a completely separate 2nd part that I had to stop myself from trying to include in this one)

and then I also decided I wanted to do a more complex background that has some animation, and then I put all sorts of transitions to make everything flow better between the loops...

and this is the result! I can say for sure this one was the largest mountain I've climbed so far in terms of a single project like this

I don't feel it's 100% tbh, theres a lot that could be improved. But I gotta keep reminding myself "finished, not perfect" and learn to call it done or I would never finish it

phew

I really like the final product but boy am I tired right now (it's 10am as I write this and I just pulled an all-nighter finishing this animation up hehehe)

expect the next drawing this week still, it's gonna be a much lighter one so we'll be done in a reasonable time frame

I'll still be compiing the 2021 retrospective too btw, expect that next week then

That's it for now, I'll go sleep now!

Seeya next time 💋

I think that this turned out amazingly well! I'm glad that you pushed yourself to try new things, but not so much that you harmed yourself

This animation is great! I love the look of the human you always create and the slightly ajar door adds an element of exhibitionism to the scenario. great work!
