PC Update (Patreon)

Hey everyone

Just wanted to give you guys a new update on my pc situation

About 2 weeks ago my old pc completely broke down. After having to replace parts in it twice in the last few years, it finally got to the point where it crashed and then it went into a boot loop that I just couldn't get out of for an entire day working on it (no joke, I was working on it from the moment I woke up, until when I went to bed, for a couple of days)

After several cmos battery clearings, os reinstalls, stripping it down to it's bare components and countless reboots, I eventually decided to give up on it. The pc was already over 4 years old and black friday was coming up, so I might as well build a new one than wasting any more time I could be working on art

After I decided to wait to get a new pc, I still had the problem that I still couldn't work on stuff anymore, so I tried to find alternatives. I borrowed an old laptop that my parents had, and tried to use it

The laptop was incredibly slow, and when I run a virus scan on it I found 13 infections right away.

What I did next was format that laptop, reinstall windows in it, and then try to get all my programs in it. The main problem that time was that the laptop was still so slow that I just could not work on it. I was pretty much out of options at that time, so I decided that I'd buy an "emergency laptop" so I didn't have to go a whole month without being able to work

A few days later, and here we are! I got this laptop on a reasonable good deal, installed all my programs in it and everything is working correctly so far

In terms of art progress, I basically have 3 different pics stuck at 80% right now. I had already redrawn the majority of the halloween animation on my old pc (it actually crashed while I was finishing it) and just need to actually animate it, I got a live a hero sketch fully finished, and a commission that I'm halfway through the pixel art phase

So here's what I'm gonna be doing in the next few days. This weekend we'll have 2 new pics, the live a hero painting on friday and the animated halloween pixelart on saturday/sunday. From that, we're also expected to have 2 pics next week, the animated commission and the "regular" 4th pic of the month that should get us all caught up to our regular rhythm

Sorry that I have been quiet for a bit (aside from rants on twitter and the discord server hahaha), this has all been so incredibly frustrating and stressful. I just want it to be over and everything to go back to normal soon
