Hey guys

Here's a little thing I did for a project in my japanese class, each of us got a random famous place and were tasked to write a text + represent it in some way (like through a collage, drawing it, etc)

I should have definitely not colored it the way I did, the black and white version looked so much better. Although if I hadn't, it wouldn't be apparent that the main selling point of this temple are the two upper floors covered in gold leaf

In the end if feels really eh. I really need to get some more practice in rendering backgrounds traditionally, most of the stuff I've done with real pencils and paper was just organic forms which don't look as wobbly and structureless as something like a building would

And yes, coloring the reflection on the lake was also a huge mistake. Anyway, hope you liked seeing a tiny snapshot of my real life struggles. Seeya later!
