K9 Unit - New Character designs + Panel sketches (Patreon)

Hey guys

Fucking hell, remember that I still have this project? A ton of other stuff made me keep it in the back burner for a looooooong time but I recently decided to come back to it

Since this is my first "official" post about it and a lot of stuff has changed, I guess I better start explaining things.

You may remember that we had like 6 pages of the comic sketches before? Threw those in the trash. Eneirem helped me come up with an entirely new (and so much better) script for the comic, and said script was already put in the correct format, split into pages, and then (mostly) storyboarded in my notebook here.

What I've done the last few days was revisit the character designs since nowadays I'm much more competent. Here's a comparison between the old and new designs if you needed Halloween to come a bit earlier this year:

Yeah... You can definitely see an improvement there.

I also started sketching a couple of the main panels for the comic as you can see up there. Everything except for the character refs in the top left (including the slightly misshapen heads) will actually appear in the comic

So yeah, the rumors that I never finish any of my projects (propagated mainly by myself) might be proven wrong this time around. I've been keeping up a nice streak of dedicating a couple of hours every day to work on this and I'm getting satisfactory results. It shouldn't be terribly long before I have enough material to compile the entire sketched comic, which I can then start inking and posting for you guys
