Why I haven't posted anything this week (Patreon)

I'm not sure how many of you follow my twitter or are in our discord server, and since I don't wanna leave anyone in the dark I thought it was a good idea to give you an update

Some stuff happened this week that left me with little time to finish a "complete" submission. I was planning on releasing Pokebreeder: Incineroar this weekend but wasn't quite able to finish it in time (although the majority of it is already done, I've posted it as a preview for the $10+ patrons)

The majority of you might already know that I'm close to finishing my master's course. The only 2 steps left being are publishing my thesis in an event with sufficient academic impact, and the defense of my thesis itself.

This past weekend I finally got the acceptance email that made sure I completed the former step (yay!), although that was very good news and certainly got a huge load off of my shoulders, it also meant that I had to put some more work on the paper since it needed to be reviewed, all comments from the correctors had to be seen to and I needed to make a camera-ready version of the paper so they would publish it. I had to do all of that within a couple of days of the acceptance confirmation arriving so my focus kinda shifted exclusively to that for a bit.

Another side effect of having my paper accepted meant that I needed to register for the convention where it is going to be featured, so within the same week I also had to pay the entry fee, book a hotel for nearly a week, buy the plane tickets, etc. I ended up paying for nearly 100% of all the expenses, since my university informed me they wouldn't even cover the cost of the entry fee for the convention (a bit over $200 after conversion) although the professor that has been tutoring me did give me some money in the end

Then there was also the problems I've been having in my apartment. If you follow me on my twitter you'd have witnessed the "Leaking Saga" where a good half of my room got a bit flooded because my ceiling had so many leaks during a particularly strong storm. Well, this week my plumbing also decided it wanted to leak a little bit it seems. The apartment below me had some infiltration problems right below where my bathroom is, so my shower got taken out of commission for at least 1 week so we can figure out if it's just water seeping through the wall (quick and easy fix) or if I have some busted plumbing (would involve breaking the walls and redoing a pretty big part of my bathroom). So yeah, that also took some time to deal with, specially since I now have to go to my parent's apartment in order to shower

And of course all of those problems had to come when I was pretty bleh already due to patreon situation (which btw has been much much better due to a surprise donation from someone I don't think wants to be mentioned here. But seriously thank you man, without you I'd have lost roughly a quarter of all my earnings here)

I believe that's about it. Really busy week so I haven't been able to finish stuff once again. I hope you can understand it
