Hey!

As noticeable the comic development is going at a snail's pace. I tried to “balance” the comic and my work and found myself not being able to afford it. Sometime in August/September, I dropped a couple of commissions so I would have time to work on the comic but a funny thing about commissions is that if you drop a few, you create a dead zone around yourself. Thing is, a commission leads to another commission, dropping one is fine, dropping a couple or more can lead to this. Luckily I had some money saved up so I can still bounce back.

Since I need to get myself back on track, because money, I spent last month working on my portfolio. And I’ll spend November and maybe even December doing this because I might have a good solution to all of this.

I’ll try to create some really good images and I’ll try to snatch some more lucrative clients. The idea is to create an environment where part of the month I’ll work on commissions, the other on the comic and still pay all my bills. At this point, unfortunately, that is not the case. So what will I post? The work on my portfolio, steps, educational bits, and high-resolution finish. And maybe more useful, how I critique my work and then proceed to fix it.

Also, I’ll try and record some of the painting process. That’s what I can offer at this point and fingers crossed it will lead to some better paying gigs.

Thank you for your support!
