The RA Volume IV, Part Five: The Gamer's Tale (Patreon)

As many of you know, when I'm in book mode, I release the first draft of chapters to $20+ patrons as they complete, and then later when the book is done I go back and edit and proofread and make it seem like I know how to spell a little. The end result is usually pretty similar, just better focused on its themes, more colorful, less disruptive with typos and proofreading. If you read the original, you can skim or skip the rewrite and get the gist.

This is not that. This is so much better than the original, gang. I honestly liked the original Gamer's Tale pretty well. With the benefit of hindsight though, I felt like it was too tonally similar to Amy's and Vanessa's stories. Not so brutal as Amy's or so pathetic as Vanessa's, but a sad person uplifted by proximity to nice people. In this case it was sort of a tour of Charlie World, and while I never mind more time with Charlie, Destiny's voice felt a little lost in the shuffle. I wanted to better center the gamer in the Gamer's Tale, and here we are. 

This is about 70% fresh material written from scratch, so if you read the original, you haven't read this. I'm like a D Tier gamer myself, but I spend enough time with people and streamers who do to hopefully not embarrass myself too much. Destiny is so delightful, and I have added her to my list of Hotties I absolutely adore and want more of. Hopefully you will, too.
