Hey guys!

It took me a tiny little longer, but the last page of The New Intern comic is finally complete. It was long journey, much longer than I originally planned, but I hope everyone had a good time reading it.

You can find the new pages by clicking on the link below. There you can find the new pages directly, or read the fully comic in the updated PDF and the link to the motion comic as well.

Also. By reading your commnents, mostly everyone said to finish ongoing projects first. So that's wahat i'm gonna do. And the first thing will be the New Inter's epilogue, hopefully before the end of the month.

First let me drop the good news.

As most of you probably know by now, I will continue the Game Night in March. But for some time i'm aware the problem that the revards for the higher tier backers were sadly neglected. I was trying to come up with something that can be used to please everyone, but it never worked out due to the lack of time and many ongoing comics.

But I think I have a new voting on comic in the pipeline for March. It's a fun and quick format that I can do next to Game Night. It's not as elaborated as Game Night but I think it will work.

It's mostly like the Casting Couch series was earlier. This one is called "Live Stream Room" at least for now... Imagine someone is trapped in a live stream where you decide what will happen to person. At least that's the concept.

It works as the previous games. $5 and $10 backers can suggest ideas, and $3 $5 and $10 backers can submit their votes on the ideas. The Ideas phase and the voting will be held from Monday to Friday, I make the 10 or so pages in the weekend and upload the Monday, and repeat. This format gives me time to work on other things on weekdays.

I will have a post for higher tier backer in a few days where you can submit your character ideas for the game and have more detailes.

What do you think? You like the idea?

Now, to the bad news!

All my plans may not work out at all, and my layed out schedule for other comics will go down the toilet.

My started doind weird things in the past days that deeply concerns me. I had a blue screen last week. I did not make much of it. It's rare, but it happens, right? Then it happened again yesterday. I cleaned dust out because it can cause something like that, but earlier today it happened again with a freeze.

So, i'm not sure. It's eerily resembles to what happened when my SSD died a year ago. So I won't lie, i'm scared. My works are all saved just to be sure, but still, but I had nightmares last night.

But I try to remain optimistic. I will do another more thorough cleaning tomorrow and if the problem is not solved, I will go to my local shop for a check up and will see then.

Any idea from you guys what should I  look for that I might have missed? I'm not really a tech guy here, just noob user.

If it just started acting up, it might be a handful of issue. The cheapest option, might be to just format your drives, transfer all files over to an external hard drive, and reinstall the OS(operating system). If you want to try and figure out the problem yourself, a few things to check are ram usage and make sure you have extra so its not maxing out for long periods. Check if the drivers are up to date, mainly your graphics driver. Sometimes old graphics drivers remain installed and that causes an issue, so you should use DDU which will allow you to uninstall the old drivers and than you can manually install the new one. Cleaning out dust is sadly such a small step in the problem solving process. Usually these issues happen because the parts are not really communicating together well. It can happen with driver updates, programs not utilizing the storage space well, and just plane old over heating from the machine over working. If you think it's a heat thing, theres a program HWMonitor which lets you see the temps of your computer parts. Easiest option, pay someone to fix it and they will probably just format it and over charge you to put your files on a cheep external hard drive. Hope that helps.

what about my heroes?

A Big Guy

I like the sound of the new comic! I’ve seen a few others do similar ideas and I’ve loved all those others so I’m sure this’ll work great as well

I hope it's not something serious. If you aren't very techy and you trust your local shop, then I would have them take a look. They should have tools to run diagnostics on the computer and determine the issue much faster.

Oh, thank you. I actually got the idea from a short hentai doujinshi. It was fun. I think it would work nicely with the voting system.

how about a story where a guy materialize his desires at a price he doesn't know

For securely saving media, you should think about getting a NAS (network attached storage) with 2 or better 4 hard drives. You can configure them to mirror each other (RAID 1 on a 2-bay NAS or RAID 10 on a 4-bay NAS), so data loss due to hardware faiure is very unlikely. It's like your own private and very fast accessible cloud at home, but with no running and only an upfront cost. (400€ for a NAS + 600€ for 4x 10TB drives) Since the NAS would be located in your local network, it would be almost as fast as an internal hard drive on your machine. Maybe go with a Synology DS418 or newer (DS422...), since these are pretty easy and maintanance-free, for storage devices. You can then also Backup all that data to an external hard drive, USB stick, another NAS, to the cloud, so that you don't loose your data, even when two hard drives would fail simultaneously.

Well, your end to this comic was a splash! Thank you for the goodness 💦

For tech support: Blue screens can be caused by a lot of things. Event viewer can usually help you narrow down the hardware at fault. However my main go to recently has been do you have/use a Samsung 989 Pro? 90% of the 20 I have have failed. If not then next bet is driver issue, then RAM. But event viewer can really help narrow down what the problem is.

For the comic idea: Generally like the concept, reminds me of a series I have read recently “transform.me” by the wanderer. I say as long as you keep a nice balance with it it could be a fun series. It could be fun to have it have some “limits” that you work with and people voting work with.

Ya, if you have a lot of tabs open, or like a specific website, it might eat up your processor and ram for strange reasons. But that would only happen if you have low ram I think. I know I use some streaming sites that mess with my network, but unless the site is using your computer to mine crypto, it shouldn't be blue screening just from the site alone.

SitriAbyss

I see. Well i'm not running anything fancy and I have enough RAM, but I just noticed that all 3 bluescreens happened when I ran Youtube and Deviantart at the same time. Today I changed my routine and did them separately and nothing happened (thank god) It might be just a coincidence tho.

SitriAbyss

I looked up the comic you mentioned and they were truly awesome. I got my inspiration from a short japanese hentai doujinshi. It seemed like a too good concept to not use it in 3D, but I guess someone beat me to it :)
