About the "BIG Idea" (Patreon)

With this post I want to officially announce that I plan a TG animation contest between artists.

The intention:
The reason for this competition is simple: TG animation content is generally really sparse (even when I'm not on a hiatus). I know that a lot of TG artists who usually do still images did at least once a animation because they're interested in it  and I wanted to give especially them a motivation to get back to it. This doesn't mean that artists who do animation more regularly won't participate too, though. But I generally think a TG competition between artists is a exciting idea.
The planning:
Before I wanted to announce it I wanted to make sure that a bunch of artists are willing to participate and well... I already got a bunch of artists. I'll keep them a secret for now, though. :)
I started to outline the rules, worked on the procedure and made my thoughts about the voting system. The voting will be most likely conducted by a handful of artists and people I trust and are independent from the participants. I was thinking about making it a public vote but this would give artists with bigger communities a big advantage.
The contest will have +/- 3 months of deadline for the artists as soon as it starts but I still have to work on the funding for the competition.

The funding:
Since this is a SFW and NSFW event, I don't even have to try getting sponsors, especially not within such a niche and fetishy context. My plan is to fund the prize money "myself" with your help. The idea now is that I create a time exclusive bundle (maybe on Gumroad) where I set the price for a few of my latest non-public works kinda low but people who like to support this event can give more if they want and are able to. The time exclusive bundle is planned to be sold for around a month. I don't plan to offer some exclusive content outside of Patreon there, it wouldn't feel right while I have a lot of people supporting me here. I plan to use as much money of the Gumroad sells as possible but I still have to figure out if I can write off (taxes) prize money in any shape or form and there's potentially costs for promo material (I'm not sure how much of that I'll do myself yet). As soon as the crowd-funding bundle is ready, I'm going to announce it here and on my social media. Even if you can't spare extra money for that bundle, I'd be really happy if you could retweet and share the promo when you see it on my social media, thank you. :)

I don't have the intention to make money from this, I just want to compensate the costs at least for the most part.

If this event is going to turn out successful, I definitely want to do more.
