Sorry if I come off a little bit bitchy. Some of us have been patrons for what feels like years now and get blue balled every single time a character they like comes up because people vote for the same five characters we follow this artist because we love their style and would love to see other things in their style, other than the same five things.

Why complain about it though? I’d like Shiva or Lilith from this poll, but I’m probably not going to get them and that’s fine. If Renamon is your preference, then just put your vote there and cross your fingers. Besides, last month Apogee won after numerous failed attempts - it’s a dramatic overstatement to say we only get the same five over and over.

Although I agree with your frustration I do not agree with how you handled it Sergal. Rather then trying to make the artist(s) or the community feel guilty or indebted try to give them good ideas on how to accrue more fans and please the mass in a symbiotic way. Instead of attacking the Artist and their followers subversively or intentionally for nepotism, suggest next time a helpful change like "Hey, I love how you do the polling and I know we're getting 2 amazing sets of characters every month + some more, but I'd be willing to donate an extra $5-25 a month if you took, say the 3rd-5th (Or any part of the roster which I, myself would find more enjoyable) highest voted at random or at your discretion if possible and do a single piece (hopefully a set) to help quench the thirst!". Maybe even suggest that you do a running tally on certain characters, though at this point it may not be possible nor pliable in retrospect as it'd take a massive amount of effort on PA's part to keep accurate tallies in that regard. I'm with you 100% on Renamon and seeing how amazing PA's art could encapsulate such beauty, why I've been suggesting her at the start of each month for several now, and as much as I'd love to see Mirri from MTG after reading Wrath and Storm more then a decade ago, I expect to wait several years before I see a piece worthy of her, sexy time or not! What is good now, is better later! This is not an attack on anyone, it is a dialogue that I'd love to talk about though not on these forums as it is not meant for them. We all Love PA's art along with PA, we all hope for their continued success and health, we may not agree with everything but that's part of the human condition. I know this is long winded and hopefully those who don't mind a bit of text have read through it all, and if you have then I hope you all taste the best things in life, have a directive that is not only wholesome but also fulfilling in all attributes, and remember always, that somewhere out there someone finds inspiration to pursue their dreams because you were there for them!

It's all good lol! I know it's quite the wall of text and I generally try to follow the acronym KISS (Keep it simple stupid!). In this case I felt I had to elaborate more to hopefully help this community move forward in a positive way and understand how perplexing and frustrating it must be for PA to put out such wonderful work every month, give us all a say, yet still receive so much flak for it. We all may, or will feel jaded, even ignored from time to time, however this doesn't mean our voices or our votes don't matter, I know it to be quite the opposite and especially so in this case as we all get an equal vote for our preferred choice of art each and every month regardless of what we contribute. I hope to all those who read this, that we all remember to look inward and realize that we are all human, that we are all trying to do our best. Remember, a warm smile and friendly hand offered is more readily accepted than one who shouts while casting stones. If something is amiss or aggravating, offer a fix or insight in a friendly or casual manner that is both respectful and appreciative. No one enjoys being disrespected or taken for granted especially when they put forth a great and constant effort in their endeavors. Damn this is long winded as well, my apologies but hopefully this will be a good teaching moment that will help us all become better people in the long run!

I am not very good with wording things like that. It’s why I even apologized for sounding bitchy. Even I think I sound it but don’t know how to process it better. It’s not an attack on anyone. In any way, shape or form. Just a cry for something new, especially when the original furry waifu comes around. And thank you for recommending her. Please keep doing so. We may be to see her someday.
