Inks and colors next! Loona from Helluva Boss was the winner of one of my recent polls, so it's time to sketch, ink and color this sweet-looking Wolf Demon. She's so fun to draw!

What version do you like the most? Clothed or naked? I can't decide which one should be the main version of this picture :o

Thorny One

I knew it. Wonderful job on the face and pose, really nailed the likeness

Garrison1720

Looking forward to this cute hellhound looking sexy in your style when all finished, X! A sketch now, but still hot, dude ^w^ .

I think both are good but prefer the nude one as main

Jeffery

Cool loona

Gizmo

id say clothed since i like her outfit and mind me asking what colour will her nipples be? i see artists make them pink or black,im always a fan of darker nipples :3

Fen Longpaw

Again, bias here, but I LOVE those paws on her

Huge fan of showing off the pawbs! qwq

Sierra Teylaas

Voting for the clothing option because her outfit is cool looking.

Also, nude is always my preference. However I felt I needed to follow up that I think the sketchiness of you, if I'm interpreting it correctly as something I do in my style, kind of trying to find a good line feel in the median of all the short lines you place around the object? That the naturally occurring fuzziness by that line style has the wonderful effect of making her seem more appropriately fluffy, especially in the paws

Eastern-Fox

You captured her essence nicely! I’m partial to the naked version, myself. :3

IamUnknown

Love how you've rendered her! Nude version all the way!

Julian Hartmann

Since I love the show and am actually not big on seeing characters of SFW shows I love nekkid, I'll go with clothed for once. With her, an exposed armpit is more than enough for me. BTW: Don't forget she has syphillis!

James Reese

Really boss dude:) lover her paws sooo cute ^~^

Michael S Marks

How about clothed version with either a see thru top, or flashing some titty.

Shrapnull

Great job getting her likeness and character across! You've definately captured her disinterested; contemptous personallity :) I think the clothed version is more fitting given the context ; it looks like she's at the office so I can't see her exposing herself there. I'm happy either way though; it might be she's at home or something and you're walking in on her private time

Mmmmm Naked Plz ^,^ ... Do you think Renamon now has some competition with Loona seeing as they're the most popular furry characters drawn

Jebuz Cordero

Voting for the naked option

Thanks, Garrison! I'm having lots of fun working on the colored version :D. I can't wait to share it with you all on Monday!

Glad you like them :P Honestly I have never been able to find a good/proper explanation to why my sketches look more "alive" in comparison to their inked versions. However, it's true that the fuzziness or thickness of my line style helps a lot to make the character's details stand out (including fluffy effects), specially in those areas with more pronounced curves. That's one of the ways I have to fill the picture as much as possible and make sure it doesn't have too many empty areas.

Haha thanks! It has been a while since the last time I drew detailed paws :D

Too bad Moxxie's present didn't have the cure for it :(

I still think Renamon will be the fandom's favorite for a looong time :D

Thanks! I had so much fun trying to capture her personality. I really wanted to make her look all disinterested and kind of grumpy just like in the show :) And I agree! The naked version is more alluring although the clothed one should be much more fitting, specially since the background will be the classic office that appears in the show.

Thank you! I can't wait to post the colored version :D

I know that it's a similar issue I've run into with how my brain wants me to approach my line work (when I can get past my OCD enough to get that far in a piece) that in an effort to clean up my lines to make them "right", I end up sanitizing the organic edges to them, and we all know that real nature hates truly clean lines, so that kind of makes sense. I love your work, as evidenced by my support over the years not wavering, but hearing your reply I'd actually be curious to encourage you to explore some pieces where you skip inking and try to add color without hard defined lines. I'm under skilled in the world of art, but one of my favorite pieces from long ago I basically used a colored version of my sketch brush to use a "colored pencil" to finish the piece.

Oh! I have colored some pictures without hard defined (or at least, less clean) lines, although they aren't fully detailed illustrations. This is one of the first examples that come to my mind right now: https://www.patreon.com/posts/lady-xprays-32770392 I agree with you, it'd be nice to experiment and see what happens if I color a sketch with less defined lines, keeping those organic edges. A bit of experimentation never hurts! Thank you so much for the suggestion, your kind words and your support, Fen :)
