SO...

I just killed the front side USB2 ports on my new computer.  And my Fighting stick which was plugged in, AND my rgb controller.  And possibly damaged my Motherboard.  

I unplugged my Tablet from charging and the wire fell on the metal ring of my cable modem line, causing a huge electrical arc (loud pop, yellow sparks in the air..) connector is charred and everything plugged in to my front USB2 is dead.  My fans are stuck in rainbow lighting mode and Im really very very angry.

The rgb controller not working (doesn't show up in software at all, fans stuck in rainbow) has me super worried that my mobo might be damaged.  I might be able to frankenstien something with my old case to check the other usb headers.. blargh.

Its ok. It's a big list. Tekken7, soul calibur6, street fighter5, BBtag, Undernight, Mvc, Guilty gear. Yada yada... I have everything under the sun, from Arcana heart to Thems fightin herds. Well, except netherrelm games, dont really like Netherelm games..

Well I know the American power plug system, that is a accident waiting to happen. Hope you are lucky and it's just the USB port. The good news is, that is very likely. In your PC AC unit are safe guards for stuff like this. So there is hope (^^)

Bring the computer to a local repair store (not best buy) to check up the computer to see what works and doesn't and go from there on getting new parts.

So it hit that little metal connector you see on most cable wires? I was not aware that would make such a spark but I'll be careful with stuff like that.
