I blame AWIL for kicking it off, honestly.  Well, "blame".  Not saying I don't like it, mind you.  Whoever thought of it first was brilliant.  A drastic and entirely effective way of visually showing the shift from man/woman to snarly.  Gotta appreciate that level of craft.

Crazy how many different ways you can do it, too.  For instance, you got your hindpaw change that shifts center of gravity too much (like this page).  Good stuff, but you could also go with front paws getting so big the back half can't keep them aloft.  Even seen back / spine changes being the impetus for the WHUMP-age...

Sorry for the tangent.  It's just the kind of things you think about when always surrounded by TFing things :V

More of the madness she was talking about. Also I think this ones a combo of front and back paws. All those paws are gigantic!

American Werewolf in London is the absolute gold standard in transformation scenes.

I wonder why not many people do anthro? Did the furries ruin it? 😁

You draw the best paws hands down! Love the direction this is going too, down on all fours. 😁

You'd make an excellent teacher in TF theory...

Nahhh. Plenty of good anthro based TFs around; lot of them localized around the 90's cartoons.

Certainly one of the greatest displays of practical effects put to film. I hear John Landis' son was trying to remake the film a year or two back. No idea whatever happened to it, but I'm sure someone else will if he doesn't. Can't wait for hollywood to ruin another classic. It's going to be great :V
