why are these costume updates separated by month? that means, that to get all the costumes, i would have to be a high-tier patron for a year, correct?

This is not month $16 gift. But if yuo want all $16 month gifts, you need reach $150. So this game is no dlc story for every patreon, only have some cosplay.

that seems a bit expensive doesn't it? i would suggest a way to pick and choose the costumes you want, then pay for just the ones you want...but Patreon doesn't really support that. there are absolutely some costumes i would buy from the collection, i think it would likely make more money also.
