So the Avarice interactable was meant to be a thing to test on newgrounds to see if you guys would like that sort of thing. But then an Idea came to mind. Which, I know I'm already scheduling two videos with Mitsuki, one a remake of an existing video, the other brand new and featuring all sorts of monster KAWK,  but, the new Idea would be another one, replacing the Avarice project for the time being. It would be a remake of an old ass game I played waaaaay back when I didn't even do art. Obviously its a little weird to go out and remake another persons game but, I don't know. It feels like I have to pay a homage to it since, Mitsuki, and I guess technically that game, is the entire reason why I got started in art in the first place. I have a literal suitcase full of sketches over the years, a good majority of me trying to draw her.

So, I don't know yet but I really want to do this instead of the Avarice one, but I know a lot of people like her, maybe I'll do a simple animation as a second vote on top of the current going one as a middle ground for the time being. . .

I do want to know what your thoughts are since you guys give me (what I feel like) is more than I deserve.

Oh also the game is Meet'N'Fuck the Plumber. Back, when that series was. . .different.

But yeah, thoughts?

Personally, I think that if you are feeling that passionate about the project that you should do it. That kind of passion really shows in the quality and feel of your work and the finished product benefits. Its also good for morale to work on something you really want to do every once in a while.

Concur. As long as you are still releasing quality content on a regular basis and not just starting projects continuously and then never finishing them, I would say you are more or less free to follow your muse. Passion projects often turn out the best. Just don’t get overly frustrated if you can’t get it exactly the way you see it in your mind. Perfection is a journey, not a destination.

What those guys said; plus I figuered it was M'N'F. At the exact moment you said newgrounds remake. Good memories, eh? Put your heart into it, it's always better.✌

Passion is what drives art. If you are passionate about it then you have no choice but to follow your muse. Otherwise you end up a slave to your audience. In a game it is up to the games designers and developers to determine artistic direction and the players either like it and offer little feedback to the tune of Great Game or enjoyed it so much. Or like it enough to offer specific critiques to the tune of "I think it would be better this way" or "can you add X to the game" Or outright do not like it and play through once (if they can finish it at all) and then never buy another title from the developer. Here this is visual art and the Artist is in control and provides a story, artwork, set pieces, and drama that all come from his or her imagination Imagination that cannot work without inspiration and passion. You are the artist. BE PASSIONATE!
