As a Marylander, I'm disappointed in your omission of Maryland crab cakes when naming states with signature foods. Otherwise, good work as always!

I'm very confident, I haven't been pronouncing any video game characters name correctly, LOL. I started thinking about how to sell MinnMax on the Disgaea series and quickly realized it's a very strange series to be a fan of. The games are not sequels of each other (one is), and aren't actually related in any way aside from the name or a handful of reoccurring characters. They all take place in the same-ish universe, but even that's up for debate. The series is directly related to Rhapsody A Musical Adventure which released back on the PS1. The developers made several 'angel' games (didn't really take off) and then decided to try their luck with demons, which had more successful. I'd personally recommend 6 or 7 simply on the gameplay mechanic improvements and graphical style (they look a lot better), but the stories can be a hit or miss (avoid Disgaea 3). In either event, here goes my pitch. Do you like video games with exploding penguins, who may or may not be the reincarnation of a previous relative? Do you like games with quirky, animated characters, who bounce in and out of character whenever possible? Do you also like soap opera's where the characters make up sob back stories for other characters in the game and the characters willingly go along with, until they realize its all a lie? How about characters who are exceptionally strong willed and can become suddenly overpowered for no particular reason? If so, then this is the game for you! Did any of that make any sense? Nope, probably not but its anime, so it comes with the territory. Welcome to Disgaea and yes, the name is kinda weird to pronounce. Happy Gamming!
