Hello Ben and the ((insert witty pun referring to the crew)), Um… have you guys been watching the live action One Piece series? For the past year or so I’ve heard my kids watch the anime from the other room and it was always annoying to me cause it feels like 35% of the dialogue is just unnecessarily intense screaming. Anyway, my kids convinced me to try the live action version and my mind was sufficiently blown. This is easily the best thing I’ve watched all year. Hanson, you specifically I think would LOVE it, it’s so well written and somehow (I can barely understand it), it still feels like an anime! It’s light-hearted and deep at the same time. It’s “cartoony” but with real people! Maybe this is a better question saved for Kyle but thought I’d throw it out there just in case! Thanks for being you!

Buckle in for a story you'll surely tolerate, because I had a really fun dream about Minnmax last night! I was watching a New Show Plus with the theme of apology and atonement. JeffM was on the sticks, playing GTA III, and going up to random NPCs in the game so that JeffM could verbally deliver some very overly earnest and heartfelt apologies to them, for the violence and chaos he'd wrought in their neighborhood. Leo and Ben were feeding him these apologies, and making him say some very silly things he was supposedly apologizing for. It got funnier when JeffM approached hostile NPCs, who promptly attacked or shot at him rather than taking his earnest apologies at face value. I woke myself up from laughing at JeffM's deadpan attempts to continue apologizing to some gang member who was eagerly perforating him with gunfire all the while. Anyway, I know Ben would have about 500 answers to this, but to the group at large I ask: any funny or bizarre Minnmax dreams in your past?

Hello MaxMinners, With Starfield releasing it has finally fulfilled my long awaited dream of a sequel to Escape Velocity Nova, a space game about an expansive universe with multiple faction questlines that involved deep "however you want to play" freedom for the player and extensive modding support. I've been waiting for it for 15 years. What are the unconnected games have been sequels in spirit for you?

I recently learned about a game called Ratatan that had a kickstarter recently and found it really interesting. It wasn't until my cousin told me about Patapon that I learned that it was inspired by it. Has there been a time where you all saw a game announcement or played a game, and only learned after it was inspired by another game? If not, is there a game you have played that you wished games took inspiration from?
