Did anyone notice the mushroom guys just outside of Brok and Sindri's house? I spent far too long watching them move about. There's so much detail in the world to appreciate.

Is it just me or does it feel like there is less boat banter in this game compared to the previous? I encountered quite a bit of silence when rowing through Svartalfheim that it made me rush from destination to destination.

I really loved that when I cleared an area out that Atreus would mention we "got everything here". It kept me moving along in the game instead of searching some areas several times over to make sure I missed nothing.

That Freya scream.... wow 👌. Burned into my soul. Also not the biggest fan on the sped up combat. It's more fluid but less weighty

This is a fantastic game, but I never remember all of the runic and accessory (?) control combinations.

I'm loving the game so far, but Atreus' voice is going to take me a while to get used to. I guess even gods go through puberty.

Nice to see everyone’s theory of Atreus shape shifting come true. It was really interesting to watch the bear fight play out and I’m really interested to see how that’s gonna play out in the next parts of the game.

When you get to Sindri's House at the Tree, Atreus looks over the edge and makes comment on the "dragons" down below. I tried to throw my axe at them and Atreus basically chastised me for it. Kudos to the developers for having a Hideo Kojima like mindset in guessing what gamers would do.

Don’t know how I feel about the upgrade system being so robust, I’m liking the limited selection for Atreus as I feel that with Kratos there’s a tendency to hoard resources because you don’t know if something is going to be craftable that’s better in the near future

SO THE FUR COAT IS JUST GONE??

So i am now about 3 hours into the game and if I'm honest i am struggling to keep going. Am i the only one who is kinda bored with this game? I personally still don't enjoy the comat.I am having trouble navigating the UI and all the different armor options, sockets and skill trees. Also I don't really care about Kratos and Artreus.

Try hot swapping between weapons and using some of the skill tree-based attacks I’m finding that when I go into a combat scenario with some indication as to how I want to approach it I’m finding it more gratifying I like going in at times with the blades and having to build that raises stun and then the hold R2 heavy attack from the axe is super gratifying

Yea, when is the pod coming… they highlighted the dates for the thresholds to ask questions but the whole point of the podcast I thought it was going to be take questions for 24 to 48 hours quickly fine maybe 25 of the best questions record the podcast right then and there and then spend the next five days or so playing through the middle chunk, it seems like the hosts are going to be inclined to push past the first threshold, which might make their discussion artificially limited based off what they currently know, but this is just conjecture on my part.

Yeah I don’t either and I think the use-based enhancements where you have bronze silver and gold tier versions whereas if you use like let’s say three attacks constantly you can buff those attacks to further specify a build that suits your play style
