Welcome to Jurassic Park... and its commentary track! Ben Hanson, Leo Vader, and Bryan Vore share their full thoughts on the original 1993 film that is available on HBO Max. This movie is Ben Hanson's favorite of all time, so hopefully he doesn't annoy you with too much gushing over every detail. We talk about the magic of Laura Dern, Spielberg's brilliant little details, what we want from Jurassic World Dominion, and a whole lot more. Thanks for supporting MinnMax and this type of content!

Awesome! I'm actually reading the book for the first time, so planning to rewatch film after and then watch again with this commentary! I remember as a kid, Jurassic Park was the first film I saw promoted on DVD going to Circuit City and seeing it all over their TVs (and some Sting music video but nevermind about that)

As a kid I felt like it started slow and took forever for them to get to the island and show dinosaurs. I totally forgot it opens with an raptor attack and they get to the island within 20 minutes. This movie really moves. They do a great job at planting seeds that pay off later. Grant explaining how Raptors hunt to the kid at the dig site, Hammond mentioning their T-Rex runs 32mph then we're shown the size of one when they go into the visitor center, etc. They don't waste a single shot or line.
