The burning of The koran in sweden is complicated. This has been happening for over a decade and The left always protest when it happens and physicaly tries to stop it, but The right and liberals always voice their support for The freedom to do it. So we have watched The current goverment for years never saying anything negativ about The burnings that happens regurlarly and The current goverment rules with The support of a very anti muslim party. The current goverment choose The outspoke anti muslim party over cooperation with The social democrats. So to hear that same people say that They now oppose burnings The koran and caring for The opinion of muslims is actually sickening and surreal and outright fake thatevery swede can se it. AT The same time many people don't want to join Nato maby 50%, and The burnings is The only thing that has been able to challange The processmaking allot of people being more silent in The matte than usual. A left magasin and a liberal one have had a satire contest to mock erdogan, with The stated purpuos of stoping The Nato process and standing up for fredom of speech, but The burning has gotten way more attention. Finally, if muslims and others are upset AT The burning they should be equally upset that erdogan will let sweden into Nato with an outskopen anti muslim party so close to The goverment.
