Update Soon (Patreon)

Hey all,

I wanted to check in about the upcoming Revamp update and give everyone a heads up. Since beginning the Revamp, I've tried to give more clear launch dates, sometimes teasing them out, as well as trying to make things easier on myself for uploads and traffic. For the most part, that's worked pretty well so but this month is going to be an exception.

While not all of you are on the 1st of the month payment schedule, the majority are and that's something I'm always conscious of when trying to release updates. While I'm unable to release updates every month, the updates here are usually longer and more involved than most projects that release monthly (so it balances out) but I'm also very aware that a lot of developers like to "milk" (push updates off until the next billing period to try and get more money from supporters-- which is bullshit).

Milking will never be an issue here-- plus, I release the game for FREE anyway so it's actually impossible to milk from a FREE project. 

But Revamp update v0.09 has been a very difficult, tedious, and involved update. The hardest one in the Revamp so far by at least double.  So the development has really pushed things out-- plus then I lost 2 days because of Christmas.

That being said, v0.09 is looking good so far and I'm still trying to get it out during December but it's going to be very close. Thus, I'm not planning on announcing when it will drop, it'll just drop when it's ready. I want to give subscribers who supported during the month of December the most opportunity to download before the rebill on the 1st. 

Thus, keep an eye out. My goal right now is to try and drop it Saturday but we'll see how things go. It will post here first then I'll announce it via Twitter, Discord, and BlueSky to help try and spread the word.

Note: If you're not subbed now and you want the update, keep in mind that billing for this Patreon account is 30 days from when you join so if you NEW subscribe for the update on Saturday, you will not be rebilled automatically on January 1st again. Some Patreon accounts are setup that way. This account is not.
