Before/After Teaser 1 (NSFW Preview) (Patreon)

Hey all,

We're back with the first peek at the upcoming v0.08. I'll be dropping a devlog with more in-depth information on the current status but things are moving along despite my busy September that I warned you about.

So today, I wanted to share the side-by-side comparison for the first look at v0.08 teasers so let's jump right in.

Pic 1: This next update is the pickup from the awkward ending to v0.07 so we'll be having the usual talk-things-out that you've come to expect from this story. This original example is showing the old static and boring poses and has a lot of similarities to previous conversations we've seen before. 

Pic 2: This is what we're going to see in the revamp. While there isn't a big "wow factor" here with this Before/After comparison, the thing that I wanted to highlight is that I'm trying to capture more dynamic examples of expressions or mannerisms to help make these conversations get some more life to them. Basically, I took a page from my own life and how awkward conversations with friends of mine sometimes play out. When you talk about weird shit, sometimes things are funny or you blush, etc. This conversation ballooned pretty quickly with all of the possible combinations of Braden reacting one way versus Zack acting another way. But even tho the majority of it takes place side-by-side, you should be seeing more entertaining movement or expressions than you saw in the original and hopefully this will make the conversation more immersive than before. 

Pic 3: This is one of my old school favorites from the early game and has one of my early attempts to capture Braden's personality just with an expression/look. This scene is when he's eating cheese puffs and has the powder cheese all over his face. Back in the day this was something that I just drew on so we'll be doing that in the revamp as well (Jordyn will 'cause y'all see what my drawing looks like, lol).

Pic 4: This is the replacement proposal and while it doesn't have the cheese added yet, it's proof of the concept and should give you an idea how more packed this scene will be. I really wanted to show a more impulsive side of Braden in this scene as evidenced by 300 bags of chips surrounding him. In my head, this is how it originally played out but it never actually looked that way because I didn't have the resources then. But now we do so expect Braden to be a little more squirrelly and frat boy here. There's more context but we'll save that for the actual update. 

Pic 5: Ok... now we're getting into the NSFW chunk of the update that takes places in the bathroom stall. Since both of the guys got interrupted the night before, you'll have the option to go let off some steam in a stall to avoid talking to Braden out of embarrassment. That being said, these original shots were super dark and the angles (mostly because of the small space) were pretty restrictive.  The replacement is a glow-up so prepare yourself :p

Pic 6: Here's just one of the perspectives we'll be seeing in this scene. I sorta went all out on this. There's also 2 new animations here so you won't be seeing the old versions of images fading in and out to try to imply motion. Revamp will show two full 60fps animations that are butter smooth so far and all have the completely redesign lighting system. Rather than trying to focus on the actual true lighting in the bathroom, I went more for dramatic lighting here. Zack also gets hot and takes his hoodie off because why the fuck not? This scene is exponentially hotter than the original game so for those of you that choose the bathroom option first thing in the morning, I hope you enjoy the extra skin.

It's not accurate in the least this time and I'm completely ignoring it. I promise things are waaaay further than what that shows.
