Straight!? Revamp v0.04.2 Public Release! (Patreon)

Sup.

So here we go, the FREE public release of v0.04.2 of Straight!? This starts Chapter 2. There's a big more free roam for a bit in parts of this one because I was trying to save as much of the original script as I could. I've replaced that repeating stuff but I still wanted some of those parts captured because they were an original part of the game so now they're just more voluntary routes and things to go look at or experience a little more of the world. I'm pretty happy how this one turned out. This was a really boring section of the story code to sift through imo and I'm actually kinda impressed that I got it together enough that it no longer felt boring to me. Tons of new music and images. 

Please remember not to use old saves.

Plus, this version will now work on Linux again. I'm also optimistic that all future versions of the revamp will be compatible with Linux as well. Sorry about the delay Linux peeps.

that was great Aaryn, both Braden and Zach have a more life like and realistic facial elements, side eyes always make me smile and there were more than a few in this sprint. Aaryn, just a quick observation, in chapter 2

when Zach and Braden are talking about wrestling and Braden references Freshmen 15..(not sure how else to guide you to it), Zach's body seems a bit out of proportion..I typically don't notice that as I am into the story but it distracted me so it was a bit glaring..please see if you can look at that and see if you agree. Otherwise the art, the dialogue and the story line is more entertaining, visually stunning and great musical sound track

glad you liked it and you're enjoying the new facial expressions. i like doing fun stuff like side eyes with body language. i think it sorta adds to some of the sarcastic nature of their interactions. I'll also take a look at the images you mentioned, too. i'm knee deep in renders for the next update right now but when i get a moment, i'll check it out :)

I don’t think it will actually work on iPhone. Apple has too many content restrictions and I didn’t want to deal with all their hoops to put it in the App Store . It’ll work on almost anything else tho
