Patreon Content Update: Nothing Changes for Us. (Patreon)

Hey all,

So boring message here but I wanted to pass along some information regarding adult content on Patreon in the wake of the OnlyFans drama over the past month. Over the past years, we've increasingly seen an attack on websites with adult content (Tumblr, Only Fans, etc). The politics behind this is centered around arguments pertaining to "revenge porn" and "child pornography." This also appears to mostly be centered around MasterCard specifically making changes that are pretty annoying and affecting everyone.  

Patreon had a presentation today specifically targeting creators who focus on "mature themes" and adult content so I attended. I'm please to say that this will not affect the production of Straight!? at all moving forward. Patreon plans to continue to allow adult content on the page under the current rules. They are revising some rules and will require more documentation on the end of creators but this will only apply to those who include real life models in their work-- this does not apply to animation creators. The premise behind this is to protect real people who could be taken advantage of (don't get me started on the negatives). 

I do plan to update the Patreon website description soon and had already planned to do that but I will likely change some words to make the game more accurately described as story based over just being adult like some other projects are. Not only is this more accurate but it will likely give us more protection as the internet increasingly tries to futilely censor itself.
