Good morning everyone! 😁

It has been hard to keep it secret because I was so excited to share this hair with you all. It's been weeks of work to make it happen as I had to make (not exaggerating) 500 textures for a new Chromatic Collection.

It's been over a year since I made braided hairstyles, and since I introduced "The Chromatic Collection 1" I was kind of stuck with those textures, as making new ones with all the options requires a looooooot of time.

So now it's the time to give you the first hair that works with The Chromatic Collection 2. This one is inspired in Zendaya's hair, tho it's pretty obvious due to the hair name hahaha. This hair has 172 braids, a number that I won't forget in a while, as it was so tedious to make every single braid without them colliding with each other 😂, but it was all worth.

I gave this hair the same love I give to the other ones so you are able to tint the roots, ombré, highlights, and of course, it also comes with bicolour and chunky versions. And expect more hairs with braids and locs soon, as this new collection also includes locs textures that I will use in future hairs 😊.

Ha sido duro guardar esto en secreto porque estaba muy emocionado por compartir este peinado con vosotros. Han sido semanas de trabajo para hacerlo posible porque (sin exagerar) he tenido que hacer 500 nuevas texturas para una nueva Colección Cromática.

Ha pasado casi un año desde que hice peinados con trenzas, y desde que introduje "La Colección Cromática 1" estaba limitado a esas texturas, y hacer nuevas con todas las opciones requiere un montón de tiempo.

Así que ha llegado el momento de daros el primer peinado que funciona con La Colección Cromática 2. Este está inspirado en el pelo de Zendaya, aunque es bastante obvio por el nombre del pelo jajaja. El pelo tiene 172 trenzas, un número que no olvidaré durante un tiempo 😂, pero mereció la pena.

Le di a este pelo el mismo cariño que a los otros, así que podréis tintar las raíces, ombré, mechas, y por su puesto, viene con las versiones bicolor y a mechones. Y esperad más peinados con trenzas y rastas pronto, ya que esta colección también incluye texturas de rastas que usaré en próximos peinados 😊.

First i must say thank u for all the amazing hair u give us. When you have time can you make a kids and toddler pack? For male kids we have only 1 hair 😔 i hate to take hairs from other creators. I love only yours 😊🥰

This hair dosn't work for me. Just red/white squares, like when you missed the mesh :( Tried to re-download and have downloaded everything else. Everything else workes fine.

Did you download the chromatic collection 2? It’s different from number 1. The red/white sim means there’s no texture so it’s probably that ☺️

Yes, but I just deleted and re-downloaded the Chromatic Collections again (by the step-by-step guide) and maybe that will fix it. I will play later tonight and check!

Usually when the textures are missing it shows the sim in red/white squares, but showing only the scalp texture but no hair is new to me… if after downloading the textures you still have that issue, could you send me a pic of how it looks?

I did, but turns out I had some of the old files in my folder ( the extras for roots, and such ) But thank you for responding :)

this hair does not work properly in my game. After downloading it and making sure I have the chromatic base file in my game, my sims turn red and white when I select this hair. All my other hairs from you are perfectly fine. Update, I was able to figure it out. I was missing the new base hair. Honestly, I wish navigating and figuring out which links are necessary was a lot easier. It would have saved me the extra 10 minutes of trial and error.

I know patreon is horrible for finding things, but I'm open for suggestions of how to make it easier for you all, because sometimes what I think it's easy might be complex for others. Also that's why I wrote in title and above the download links that the hair required the second collection. I try to put links of all the needed stuff but due the variety of files (like HQ, nonHQ, slider compatible, etc) I have to link to the original post for those that are downloading it for the first time to understand how it works, but in the future I will add 2 different links. One that takes you straight to the file and another for info about it, so it's a bit faster to get what you need. Sorry for the issues you might had 😞

All you need to download is the chromatic collection 2, as the braided hairs need new textures that weren't included in the first one :). Janel gave you the HQ version (thank you 💙) which works for those that do not use HQ mod, but it will take more space on your disk. Okay so the issue is with collection 2. Could you delete the package Anto_S4Textures_Chromatic2_Base_v1.0_(the rest depends on what you selected in the downloading guide), and download it again? Maybe the file got corrupted when you downloaded it and that's why the game isn't reading it. A is the one at the left, B the one at the right, if I'm not mistaken 😂. The only difference is the braid falling on the face
