What is XII in XII in MMXXIII exactly?

During the course of 2023, there'll be a new Toehider EP every month for a total of 12 months.

Ok but didn't you guys already do that?

Yes! And guess what we're doing it again.

So when is it starting?

The first EP will be released on the 23rd of February.

Wouldn't it have made sense to start it in January?

Yeah probably, but Mike was moving house during most of January so there wasn't much time to write songs.

Ahh ok cool. So is this a patreon-only thing?

Nope, but there’ll be a 6 month delay. So the first EP will be released on Patreon on the 23rd of February 2023, and then publicly on the 23rd of July 2023. You can get it early on Patreon with a bunch of cool other stuff, or 6 months later when it drops publicly.

Ah right, so there’s a way I can witness the development of these EPs?

Yes! The pricier patreon subscriptions will also give you access to the "eavesdropping streams", where you can watch us work in realtime. And the audio stems (each individual instrument a separate audio file) will also be available.

Will there be a covers EP?

Not sure yet, maybe?

How much do I need to pay on Patreon monthly to be able to hear all the EP’s there when you first release them on Patreon?
It’s the tier simply called “XII in XII”. The higher tiers will get you audio stems, working streams, videos, handwritten lyrics and stuff like that.

Reckon you’ll physically release everything all at once at the end?

Salt and Mike have a mutual dream to release one of those massive Earbook packages. Maybe this’ll be the release we can do that with!

Ok I’m in, what do I get if I join Patreon for this journey?

Well, you’ll get a whole EP each month, with cover art, and a couple of pages of an ongoing comic story. And if you want more there’s a tier that gets you audio stems of the songs. Progress artwork and music; and those cool streams we mentioned before.
