It was an interesting insight. I get the feeling Mike is being very critical of his own work. A flatish note here or a repeated vocal Line there is only something the author would cringe about. I like the rawness of it as I like the polished finish on WKOCAI, a bit of variety just makes it exciting. And I love the emotional songs from 12 albums in a year stack, so don't hold back on my account. And I have to mention there are some brilliant guitarsolos in the stuff coming out in this project. Maybe if you are looking for some new vocal traits you could have a listen to the Jazz album by a little band called Queen, Freddie goes to town on that one. Straight rock with quite complex vocal melodies and little in the way of choires.
