Paywall (Patreon)

 I've been editing this post for 30 minutes now, and it was 200 words longer just ten mins ago, I'll keep it short.

I had 57 people write me in the last 2 months: I haven't had as many questions in my Tumblr and dA inbox in years. This is, give or take, what they were asking:
"When does your content become free?"
One guy even went for "Is there any new shit for free?"

Take 4 minutes of your time to watch this video from the CEO of this very platform, Jack Conte, who also is a damn good musician...the guy's simply a prodigy to me.

The video talks about clickbait, but the issue can be seen from many different angles. 
The angle I want to address is: Patreon's paywall, yes or no? 

Yes. 

Why?
