Mmmm, Ivy. Wait, what? The clothes are 'red herring-ing' again? Or is it a 'Chekhov's gun', or a 'Macguffin'? She has somehow absorbed the ring, so the ring is what's changing her (Macguffin). The ring definitely makes her horny around men and makes her want to have sex with men. She changes to the woman they want, but Chris wanted Paul, not Karissa (or maybe he was attracted to Karissa/Paula too, but would never want to act on it and hurt Paul, so Paula was already in a form he desired – and a female Paul). Maybe, it's the fact Paula is left alone with the men that causes / predisposes her to change. Karissa wanted Paul to change into her own shape - that was her desired form - so he did, but kept his own hair and eye colour because Karissa only wanted the shape. Maybe, it's also because Paula gets upset / scared / frustrated / annoyed that triggers the change - biochemical / hormone release - or is there something in the dialogue with the men that triggers a certain thought pattern (the Chekhov's gun)? Why did he only partially revert (and instantly) when Karissa broke his trance with Sam? Is it because he has some of Sam (and Chris) inside him or on him which perpetuates the change? Had she changed back more to Paula after the shower or was she still the same Paula-Stacy hybrid? Is Ivy’s mentor another sexy woman, with even larger breasts and more defined abs, and is there yet another male counterpart for Paula to be left alone with and to satisfy, or is Ivy’s mentor the studly male himself? Is Karissa now stuck with a slutty, shape-changing girlfriend, who becomes every man’s fantasy partner if she leaves them alone together? Can they use Chris’ desire for Paul to reset Paula back to Paul and take off the ring? What happens if someone doesn't pull out? So many questions?
